HT-CMC 11

Dear Friends & Colleagues,

We would like to inform you that in consultation with International Advisory Board and Scientific Committee, the Local Organizing Committee has made an uneasy decision to postpone the 11th International Conference on High Temperature Ceramic Matrix Composites, which was originally scheduled for August 28- September 1, 2022.

1. New Dates: August 27-31, 2023
2. Venue: Ramada Plaza Jeju Hotel, Jeju, Korea (same as before)

It might well be the case that the traveling restrictions and social distancing measures will not be a big deal in most countries at the end of August in 2022, but the organization of and participation at the event of such scale is not possible with so many variables such as different COVID-19 situation and immigration policy in each country beyond our control.

All current submissions will remain fully valid for the new planned conference dates. In case you need to withdraw your abstract, please contact the secretariat (htcmc11korea@gmail.com) by May 31, 2022.

When deciding to postpone the conference, we considered various alternative formats, but we opted for a face-to-face conference as a way of renewing the bonds that bring together a scholarly community that are difficult to achieve through various online tools and virtual conferences. We strongly believe that HT-CMC conferences are more than merely occasions for presentation of research findings. They have always served as community-building events, as opportunities for greater integration into our rich and diverse field for scholars of all ages, groups and research interests.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Jeju in 2023.

Is this conference cancelled?

No, due to many variables such as different COVID-19 situation and immigration policy in each country beyond our control, we have taken the decision to postpone HT-CMC 11. The new conference dates are 27-31 August 2023.

Will my submission still be valid?

Yes, your abstract submission is valid to the new dates.

What is the new deadline for the abstract submission?

Please refer to the new date below and save it on your calendar!

• Early Registration: April 30, 2023

I am an exhibitor/a sponsor at the conference, what should I do?

If I wish to cancel my submission/participation, what should I do?

Please request your cancellation by e-mail with your abstract number (htcmc11korea@gmail.com). FYI, you can modify your abstract until February 2023.
